A strange weather pattern in California (rain) has made me realize that headlights are dimmer than they should be. I know that I can buy replacement headlights from autozone and install them in about about 45 minutes to an hour (while swearing profusely). However, finals week is coming up, and right now I can't afford to take the time and patience out of my day to fix the problem. Should I just pay somebody else to do the job for me, or should I wait until after finals to fix my headlights myself?

I don't know if fender mirrors are worth it, but that bodykit is kind of...awful...
Also, where in CA are you, I'm in Bay Area and we're actually getting rain...for the first time in my life...(jk)

Oh hey, me too! I left my window 1/3 down last night, and let's just say that it was not a fun morning.
I also suggest changing your bulbs and doing it yourself. It's not a hard job and it's much better than driving blindly. There's no point in studying if you then get into a horrible accident.

You're right. I'll probably end up installing the bulbs when I need to provide somebody for a valid reason as to why I can't meet up with them.

B-but, there's already door mirrors.
Why? Why the extra mirrors, Nissan?!

Because Japan. Seriously, most cars also have retractable "parking poles" as well since space is so limited.

Are your headlights dim because the bulbs are old, your wiring is sucky, or because your headlights are cloudy? Maybe all 3?
For dim bulbs, I'd suggest going with Silvania Silverstar Ultras. I have them on my xB and they're great (also had them on my Supras with H4 converter headlights)

If your wiring sucks, consider rewiring it:

And if your headlights are cloudy, consider the CV headlight cleaning kit. This kit as AMAZING. The clarity doesn't show through until you wipe on the sealant.
